ARTICLE 1 Title
The organization is called the Christian Churches of God, and its governing body is called the World Conference of Christian Churches of God, or for short the Christian Churches of God (World Conference), hereinafter – the World Conference. The World Conference shall be the base or controlling body for all the Conferences of the Christian Churches of God throughout the world. A World Conference may be a Member of the World Conference of Churches of God in association through agreement with other churches.
ARTICLE 2 Purpose
The purpose of the Christian Churches of God is to preach about the Kingdom of God to all nations by word and personal example.
The various Churches represented at the conference shall be limited in their beliefs as set forth in the church publication, Exposition of the Creeds of the Christian Faith (Fourth Edition), or by published amendments, unless such amendment attempts to compromise the unitary simplicity of the faith and introduce the doctrine of the Trinity, Twos or Dualism.
ARTICLE 3 Jurisdiction
(1) The jurisdiction of the Conference is unlimited. It (the Conference) shall determine regional boundaries for the coordination and licensing of national churches that are members of the Christian Churches of God.
(2) The Conference may give assistance to and request assistance from any Conference of Churches or other similar Conference. Such assistance may be provided both by one Conference and jointly with other Conferences.
(3) The World Conference appoints local directors for the coordination of national churches, who are responsible to the World Conference for the faithful doctrinal and administrative functioning of their church within the official publications of the church.
(4) The World Conference controls the official website and media and all churches must adhere to the published doctrine.
(5) National Conferences can conduct information campaigns. These campaigns must be consistent with church doctrine and may be reviewed and coordinated by the World Conference.
ARTICLE 4 Composition of the conference
The Conference shall consist of the Churches, including the Conference Church, admitted or to be admitted into fellowship by this Conference.
Part 1. Board members of the World Conference
(1) The controlling heads of the Conference are the Chief Coordinator and the Deputy Chief Coordinator. They preside over the period from the Feast of Tabernacles in the seventh year of the cycle to the Last High Day of the Feast of Tabernacles in the next cycle. The first appointees to this office, the current General Coordinator of the Australasian Conference and his deputy, the Coordinator of the North American Conference, shall preside from the entry into force of this Constitution until the seventh year of this cycle in 2005 of the current calendar. In the event of the death of any of these coordinators, a successor shall be chosen by lot from among the elders of the conference of the remaining regional directors and presidents of the national churches. Its conformity to doctrine must be approved the remaining chairman of the board, the Chief Coordinator or his Representative. In case of death of both, their successors are appointed by lot from among the members of the Conference. As stated below in section 1(2), since 2005, in the event of the death of both Coordinators, they shall be replaced by the Assistant Chief Coordinator, and their successors shall be determined by lot among the members of the Conference.
(2) The Executive Committee of the Conference shall be enlarged in Sunday 2005 and two additional elders shall be elected by lot. They will perform the duties of the third and fourth members of the board of the World Conference and will have the title of Assistant Chief Coordinator and Assistant Chief Coordinator of Deputies. At the end of each seven-year period, in the seventh year, all four main coordinators are put on the drawing board list. If the current Chief Coordinator is re-elected, he continues to perform his duties during the period provided for by the new appointment.
(3) The Chief Secretary-Treasurer is an additional member of the Conference and the Executive Committee. The General Secretary shall be assisted by two Assistant General Secretaries who shall also be members of the Executive Committee of the World Conference. The forced resignation of the Chief Secretary (Secretaries) takes place when he (they) reach the age of seventy.
(4) The Board of Elders consists of regional coordinators and national coordinators elected or sent by national churches.
(5) The heads of the national churches of each region shall be members of each regional council, as well as other heads of boards appointed by the Chief Coordinator or his Representative.
(6) The Board of Elders shall meet in full at least once every seven years or every seventh year, and at such other times as may be determined by the General Coordinators and the Executive Committee of the World Conference. The case can be resolved in the subcommittees of the regions and approved by the Chief Coordinators. Meetings of the Board of Elders can be held using electronic means in the Regions or in direct meetings under the leadership of the Chief Coordinators.
(7) All Chairmen of the National Conferences and Regional Directors of the National Groups that make up the Board of Chairmen, as well as the Chief Coordinators and their Assistants, shall be included in the lottery lists during the appointment to the position of Chief Coordinator, Chief Coordinator of Representatives and/or their Assistants in the Executive Committee. Each such draw must be conducted in accordance with proper procedures and under proper supervision. Members of the supervisory commission must verify the impartiality of the draw.
Part 2. Churches of the Conference
Licensed Churches of the Conference should be separated into separate national or language groups wherever possible. However, churches can be Regional, including more than one national territory, as long as the national church receives a license . All of them are formed within the Constitution of the World Conference and come into force and are authorized as legitimate organizations of the Christian Churches of God by showing support through obtaining a license from the World Conference of the Christian Churches of God.
ARTICLE 5 Sessions
Part 1. Regular sessions
The World Conference may be convened by the General Coordinator or the General Coordinator of Representatives at any time and in any place at their discretion. In the event of their death, the Chief Secretary and the Assistant Chief Secretary, or another member of the board designated to perform his functions, shall have the right to call a Conference, which shall consist of the remaining Chief and Regional Coordinators and the Regional and National Directors, who shall constitute the Board of Chairmen together with the three Chief Secretaries.
Regional conferences are convened by regional coordinators or World Conference board members, who determine their composition and duration.
Regular sessions of the Conferences of National Members shall be convened once every three years when and where the Executive Committee shall determine and place on the agenda. Such sessions are to be held between Nisan 1 and the end of Passover and the Feast of Matzah at the beginning of the triennial term. The current three-year period is counted from 1 Nisan or Abib 1997 to 1 Nisan 2000 and similarly in 2003, 2006, 2009 and beyond.
Part 2. Extraordinary or urgent sessions
(1) Extraordinary sessions of National Conferences shall be convened by the World Conference or the Executive Committee of the National Conference or by any person authorized by the World or National Conference to do so at such times and places as that person may determine. An Emergency Session of this World or National Conference shall be called in accordance with the written request of the Presidents of the majority of churches within the jurisdiction of this Conference.
(2) Issues to be resolved by Extraordinary or Urgent sessions:
(a) the matters which occasioned the convening of such a session; and
(b) further matters of the same nature, which the Extraordinary or Urgent Session shall determine by its decision, which shall be adopted by not less than two-thirds of the votes of the number of persons who participated in the voting.
(c) a quorum shall consist of not less than fifty percent of the voting representatives or, in the case of an individual congregation, not less than fifty percent of the congregation.
(3) subject to all of the foregoing, an Extraordinary or Emergency Session may elect any members of the board or other persons or committees, and conduct business and perform other acts in the same manner as is provided by this Constitution for Regular Sessions or the Executive Committee in intersessional period.
Part 3. Definition
The place and time of the meeting of the session shall be determined no later than three weeks or twenty-one days before its commencement, as the initiator of the session shall determine according to law.
Part 4. Voting
Each delegate at the session has one vote on each question. The chairman of the session must vote impartially and in case of equality of votes, his vote has decisive force. Administrative issues are decided by a simple majority of votes. Doctrinal issues are determined by the World Conference and published in mass media. Delegates who are absent from sessional meetings may vote by proxy, which is given to the Chairman or Secretaries of each Conference, the procedure for which is determined by the World Conference. In all other cases, each ordinary delegate has one vote in his or her local conference.
Part 5. Powers of the session
As defined below, the session of the National Conference has the right to determine all issues related to ensuring the normal operation of the Conference and regulation of its affairs. Each National Conference shall adhere to the guidelines and general policies of the World Conference of the Christian Churches of God. In the event that the World Conference of the Christian Churches of God shall seek membership in the World Conference of the Churches of God, this decision shall not be binding on any conference until it has been adopted by the World Conference of the Christian Churches of God. Such a decision should not change the structure of the Institutions of Beliefs in terms of the presiding of God and laws. The Conference of Christian Churches of God and its members will not make decisions that contradict the Biblical Laws or deny the supremacy of God and the biblical exposition of the nature of God and his Son Jesus Christ.
ARTICLE 6 Appointment of delegates to the conference session
Part 1:
- The World Conference should consist of five ( later seven) permanent members of the board, who make up the Executive Committee of the Conference , and members of the Regional Councils of Conferences – national chairs and regional directors. The conference has the right to act in the regions and to meet in the form of committees under the leadership of church board members regarding administrative issues. The full council can convene on doctrinal and other issues. However, the two members of the church board holding the positions of General Coordinators have the right to veto any action or proposal that they believe would undermine the doctrinal or functional integrity of the church for which it was created.
- Delegates of the National Conferences can be:
(a) delegates accredited by the churches and duly appointed by the World Conference to attend the National Conference. Churches may be admitted to the Conference if the World Conference has authorized the establishment of a local church and its participation in the National Conference. Each church must present one delegate for every ten members or larger fraction.
(b ) all members of the Executive Committee of the Conference.
(c) persons living within the territory of the conference and having the following mandates, licenses and certificates issued by this conference:
(i) Pastoral Powers of Attorney, etc.,
(ii) Missionary Powers of Attorney, etc.,
(iii) Publishing, Informational and Literary Evangelistic Powers of Attorney,
(and v) Credentials of a Spiritual Teacher or Bible teacher, etc.
(d) Current members of the World Conference or other similarly qualified persons recommended by the Executive Committee or a duly appointed committee of delegates and accepted by a vote of the delegates of the session; the number of delegates so appointed shall not exceed twenty percent of the total number of delegates accredited by the organized churches.
(3) All the aforesaid delegates shall be appointed to meet the churches to which they belong, and shall have full right to vote in behalf of that church on all questions put to the vote during a session duly called and concluded.
ARTICLE 7 Mandates, Licenses and Certificates
Part 1:
- The World Conference, in the person of the Chief Coordinator or the Chief Coordinator of Representatives or candidates for these positions, national or regional, has the right to ordain chairs or deacons. The Executive Committees of the National Conferences shall, at the first meeting after the session, select from among persons within their jurisdiction those who have proved themselves as priests, and grant powers of attorney, licenses, and certificates to them and to such other persons as they may deem suitable for the service of the cause. their conference, and approve this candidate for ordination as one who has proved his vocation to the clergy and is recommended by their or subordinate Conference. If this person is the head of a division of the Christian Churches of God, he does not need to undergo rededication. San is unpaid. Persons with dignity may have other paid work. Board members may receive a salary. A member of the Board cannot hold a paid church position at the same time.
- No member of any council may take part in the discussion or vote on matters in which they or their relatives care for or have a financial interest, and such kinship is defined up to the third degree.

- Powers of attorney, licenses and certificates awarded or issued by the Executive Committee of the National Conference are valid until the next regular session, unless they have been revoked by resignation, failure to perform duties or impeachment by a court included in the Session of the National Conference.
- The World Conference has the power to revoke the license of any church or national conference entitling it to act as a church or conference within the Christian Churches of God. Such annulment may occur for doctrinal or other reasons. Any church whose credentials are revoked for doctrinal or other violations shall lose the right to use any church materials, or to act as a member or organization of the Christian Churches of God, or to hold property or goods in the name of the Christian Churches of God in any of the their conferences or organizations
- Deprivation of the power of attorney of a person, church or conference is a matter of regulation of national justice. Any cancellation must be subject to written notice. The renewal system is set out in Article 20.
(4) The intellectual property right of all materials is transferred to the World Conference, but no work may be prohibited by reason of the exercise of this right. In the event of such a ban, the person or his successors may in any case publish the work for public viewing. If the work contains material that conflicts with doctrine, the work will not be published by the World Conference of Christian Churches of God.Dismissal from the position of a member of the board or deprivation of membership may be applied to the author as a measure of disciplinary punishment. The names, marks and logos of the Christian Churches of God may only be used in works authorized by the World Conference. All names, brands, logos and intellectual property rights of national conferences, such as Christen Gemeenten van God in the Netherlands, are transferred to the Christian Churches of God and licensed by the World Conference in accordance with this Constitution.
ARTICLE 8 Elections
Part 1:

- National Conferences at regular sessions elect:
(a) Standing Committees in accordance with the principles of Conference policy.
(b) Members of the Conference Board and their Assistants.
(c) Members of the Executive Committee.
(d) Secretaries/Directors of departments, assistants and deputies.
- (a) The persons elected at this session shall hold their respective offices until the next regular session of the National Conference, unless such office is canceled during that time. The position may be abolished by the National Conference in Special Session or by the Executive Committee.
(b) The World Conference shall have the right to revoke the license of a person or church to operate as a member church of the Christian Churches of God for doctrinal or other reasons.
(c) If the removal is for doctrinal reasons, the body conducting the removal must provide an explanation of how the conduct, beliefs, or church doctrines conflict with the beliefs of the Christian Churches of God as set forth in the Statement of Faith. No one can hold office if he does not accept the postulate of the unity of God or other general church postulates.
(d) Dismissal for other reasons shall take into account the person’s baptism and whether the offense was committed before or after baptism. No person can be dismissed from an ecclesiastical office if he has committed an offense before baptism and has been forgiven through repentance. The grounds for dismissal must be determined by law. If a person harms the church by his actions and refuses to comply with the legal requirements of elders and heads of the church, he can be dismissed. If a person is subject to criminal punishment after baptism, he is also subject to dismissal from church office. The decision to dismiss is made in accordance with natural justice. The decision is made at the national level and ratified by the World Conference, or may be made by the World Conference.
Part 2:
The World Conference or National Conferences in session or the Executive Committee in the intersessional period may establish such positions and committees as they may determine, assign them appropriate functions and duties, elect appropriate persons to their membership, and also change or abolish any such position or committee.
ARTICLE 9 Board members

- The Chief Coordinator checks the activities of the World Conference. He appoints and initiates members of the board. Together with the Deputy Chief Coordinator, he determines the amount of salaries for the service personnel based on the recommendations of the regional Boards, taking into account the amount of salaries in each national committee.
(2) The Deputy Chief Coordinator assists the Chief Coordinator in solving the day-to-day issues of the church. They may hold other positions at the regional or national level to the extent necessary for the effective administration of the affairs of the church. They are responsible for guarding the doctrine of the church. They are responsible for the management of the church. The duties of church dignitaries set forth in the Bible, especially in the New Testament (eg, Paul’s Epistle to Ephesians 4:11), are entrusted to these persons by virtue of their office. They may appoint such officials to ensure the church’s activities.
- The Chief Coordinator and his deputy are assisted by Assistant Chief Coordinators who are chosen by lot in the last year of this seven-year cycle (2005) and will replace the Chief Coordinator and the Deputy Chief Coordinator on the last high holiday of the seventh month of the seventh year of the next seven-year term (2012), if persons , who will hold the positions of Chief Coordinators at that time, will not be re-elected by lot.
- The Chief Secretary-Treasurer is responsible for the correct calculation of tithes and other income and donations, as well as for the preservation of the church’s papers. The Secretary-Treasurer advises both Chief Coordinators. The same administrative assistance, if necessary, is provided to him for the performance of his tasks.
(5) The Chief Secretary-Treasurer shall be assisted by two Assistant Secretary-Treasurers.
(6) All these officials should receive a salary no less than the National Coordinator.
(7) Regional Coordinators are also responsible for the leadership of the congregation within their region and should receive a salary no less than the National Coordinator.
Part 2: National Conferences
- The chairman of the board of the National Conference is the President or the Chairman of the Executive Committee, who is also the coordinator or chief foreman, as well as the secretary and treasurer (he can combine the positions of secretary and treasurer in the position of secretary-treasurer). The chief foreman is also the high priest of the national church.
(2) other officials are also appointed by the National Conference at the session; their assistants are also appointed at a session of the National Conference or by the Executive Committee. In the absence of the President, the committee appoints a chairman.
Part 3:
(1) The President exercises general supervision over the work of the National Session; he shall open and preside at the National Sessions and at the meetings of the Executive Committee, but in case he shall invite any member of the Executive Committee to assist him in the office of President of sessions of the Conference or meetings of the Executive Committee, he shall have the right to appoint him to the office.
(2) The duties of the World Conference are performed by the Chief Coordinator or his Deputy.
Part 4:
The Secretary shall keep the minutes of the Conference session and the meeting of the Executive Committee at the world and national levels, as well as perform other duties normally assigned to a person holding this position. The functions of the Secretary of the Regional Committee are performed by the National Secretary or another person appointed to this position.
Part 5:
(1) The Secretary shall receive all funds belonging to the Conference, keep their accounts and disburse them as directed by the Executive Committee, present a full report at the sessions of the Conference and at the request of the Executive Committee, and perform such other functions as are normally assigned to a person holding this office .
(2) The National Committees shall pay the tithe and other dues to the World Conference.
Part 6:
(1) Secretaries and/or directors and/or assistant directors work under the instructions of the Executive Committee through the president and perform advisory functions.
(2) The duties of the World Conference are represented through their duties by the Chief Coordinator or his Deputy.
Part 7:
Officials ensure the collection and processing of statistics, reports and audits of work on the territory of their Conference as necessary. The term of office is determined by various articles and is subject to limitations determined by each conference in accordance with this Constitution.
Part 8:
(1) Board members of the National Conferences receive positions at the discretion of the National Committees. The members of the board of the World Conference receive positions at the direction of the Chief Coordinator.
(2) Dismissal from positions occurs to ensure compliance with the norms of this Constitution and may be caused by doctrinal or other violations.
ARTICLE 10 Appointment to positions
(1) The National Conference in session, or the Executive Committee in the intersessional period:
(a) appoint representatives, priests, missionaries and other persons whose appointment is necessary for the continuation of the work of the National Conference, and
(b) changes and abolishes such positions
(2) The World Conference in the person of the Chief Coordinator or, in his absence, his Deputy:
(a) appoints representatives, priests, missionaries and other persons whose appointment is necessary for the continuation of the work of the World Conference
(b) changes and abolishes such positions.
ARTICLE 11 Executive Committee
Part 1:
At each regular session, the National Conference shall elect an Executive Committee, consisting of a President and a Secretary, and such other members as may be deemed necessary, but not more than ten persons, making a total of twelve. Fifty percent of the elected members of each and every committee at all levels shall constitute a quorum .
Part 2:
(1) In the intersessional period, the Executive Committee conducts the affairs of the National Conference, and may also perform other functions of the National Conference in session, except those assigned by this Constitution to the exclusive jurisdiction of the session of the National Conference, such as the appointment of its officers for a three-year term. The Executive Committee is subordinate to the National Conference and is obliged to implement all decisions made by the session of the National Conference.
(2) Each National Conference and official is subject to coordination by the officials of the World Conference both while staying within its borders and during the performance of missionary functions.
Part 3:
The Executive Committee of each National Conference may remove from office any officer of that Conference or of the Executive Committee, if such action has been approved by not less than two-thirds of the members of the Executive Committee by personal vote or by the collection of signatures under a resolution sent to each member of the Executive Committee. Separate copies of this decision are signed. Appeals in this regard are considered by a special session of the Conference. The appeal is submitted in writing to the President, who, if necessary, convenes an extraordinary session of the Conference.
Part 4:
At least once a year, the Executive Committee reviews and sets the salary of all employees of the Conference, and also sets the salary and forms the payment policy for subordinate Conferences.
Part 5: Extraordinary Meetings of the Executive Committee shall be called at any time and at any place by the President, or, if necessary, by the Secretary of the National Conference or by three members of said committee. Fifty percent of the elected members of the Executive Committee constitute a quorum.
SECTION 12 Custody
Part 1
- The World Conference owns property and has the right to acquire land, property, erect buildings and establish organizations necessary for the accomplishment of its purposes and the continuation of its work. She has all this in her lifetime possession.
- National Conferences may acquire land and erect buildings, and establish such organizations and acquire such property as are appropriate to its duties and responsibilities as defined by this Constitution.
- If necessary, the activities of the World Conference related to this area are carried out within the national boundaries of one or another National Conference. The property resulting from such activities is under the control of the World Conference.
Part 2:
(1) If a National Conference operates and is re-registered as a division of the Christian Churches of God, the property and funds shall be placed in its custody under the supervision of the World Conference until the church is restored or the remainder of its membership is reorganized under the direction of the World Conference
(2) Funds and property may be transferred to the World Conference within the jurisdiction of the participating nations. The tenth part of the tithe is a mandatory collection within the limits of the license agreement of the Church.
ARTICLE 13 Acts
- The clergy consists of elders and deacons. Elders are spiritual persons ordained to administer the sacraments on the basis of a mandate issued by the church. Elders can ordain other clergy to support the church’s activities. Deacons are ordained to fulfill two functions. They may perform work for the welfare of the church, thereby allowing the elders to focus on more important matters, or they may be ordained so that they can prove their ability to fulfill the functions of elders if they are ordained.
Deacons do not have the right to ordain at their own discretion. They can serve some sacraments of the Church, namely Baptism and Communion. Elders (and, in specified cases, deacons) may hold the following positions:
(a) Coordinators at the World Conference level and at the national level.
(b) Evangelists, if they are heads of colleges and information missions. According to the Bible, deacons, such as Philip, can also hold these positions (Acts 6:5, 21:8)
(c) The position of Regional President of the subordinate Conference is a pastoral position. Such an official may be called a pastor or coordinator. Deacons may be appointed to the position of coordinators within territories or conferences subordinate to the National Conference.
(d) The ordained clergy of each church shall be elders. Where more than one foreman is present, a co-ordinator or president should be appointed. The composition of the council of elders of any church cannot exceed seven people. Elders should not be appointed to positions just because there are vacancies. The licenses for preaching activity of all elders and deacons are valid for the period between Conferences. They must be renewed every three years. Elders are appointed on a permanent basis, but can only preach on behalf of the church with a three-year permit.
(e) Deacons are appointed by each church. Their number cannot exceed seven in each church.
(f) Heads of national or regional missions may hold positions specified in points (a) – (e)
(2) Conferences shall control officials. The President of the National Conference may ordain elders and deacons in the interests of the Conference during the intersessional period. The General Coordinator of the World Conference or his deputy, or another person nominated for the same position, can initiate at any time for various reasons.
ARTICLE 14 Tithes
(1) (a) The tithes prescribed in Leviticus 27, Numbers 18, Deuteronomy 12 and 26 shall be paid to each National Conference.
(b) Calculations must be recorded and verified
(c) Subordinate conferences where they exist shall establish the payment of one-tenth of the tithe to the National Conference
(d) Each National Conference shall pay one-tenth of the tithe to the World Conference of the Christian Churches of God.
(e) Subordinate Conferences may be established only with the permission of the World Conference and only where the large number of members makes administration at the national level difficult.
(2) (a) Both the first and third tithes are credited
(b) In regions where public safety is maintained at an adequate level, payment of other benefits may be deferred. The World Conference shall determine the need for assistance as referred to in Article 15.
(c) the third tithe is paid from the second tithe in the third year of the seven-year cycle according to the Jubilee system as established by the Statement of Faith and the Doctrine of Tithing and published in the Christian calendar.
(3) Donations are collected three times a year, before the morning of the First Holy Day of Prosphora, the Feast of Tabernacles and the Trinity Day, during the three festive periods.
ARTICLE 15 Welfare
Each Conference is responsible for the welfare of its people. Any Conference may provide assistance to other territories if the Executive Committee so decides. Coordination is carried out by the World Conference and Regional Coordinators or Directors.
ARTICLE 16 Mass media
- The World Conference of Christian Churches of God controls the posting of information on the website, in magazines and other publications over which it has the right to control. None of the publications of the World Conference should contradict its doctrine.
- National or affiliated conferences can conduct information campaigns on their own. The National Conference is responsible for the national media. International campaigns shall be conducted within subordinate territories as agreed between the World Conference of Christian Churches of God, National Conferences and Regional Committees of the nations participating in the campaign. Subordinate organizations may provide assistance within the limits established by clauses (1) and (2)
- The right of intellectual property is transferred to the World Conference of Christian Churches of God with the exceptions established by paragraph 4 of Part 2 of Article 7
- National and local information campaigns should be reviewed by the World Conference for consistency with church doctrine according to the Statement of Faith.
- Academic or other articles must be reviewed by the National Coordinators of the Executive Committees and sent to the World Conference for review before they are made available in print by any conference.
ARTICLE 17 Holidays and Gatherings
- The National Conference, together with its divisions, if any, shall be responsible for determining and ordering the places of the Conferences and the feasts of Passover, Trinity, and Tabernacles, as set forth in Deuteronomy 16:6 and Leviticus 23.
- Local and subordinate organizations are responsible for the condition of the venues for celebrations and conferences. They can be brought into proper condition by agreement with neighboring regions. Movement between other Conference meeting places is carried out by arrangement with the World Conference administration.
ARTICLE 18 Schedule
- The schedule of events or annual holidays is drawn up according to the calendar adopted by the World Conference of Christian Churches of God, guided by the instructions of the Biblical Laws. The Holy Days must be established in observance of the New Moon rite by carrying out the necessary procedures.
The Holy Days are listed in Leviticus 23 and in texts relating to the New Moon.
(a) The Sabbath is observed on the seventh day of the week now known as the Sabbath, according to the current reckoning. Continues from Friday ??? until Saturday ???.
(b) The holiday known as Passover consists of two days. The first day, or Communion (Last Supper), is celebrated on Nisan 14, the second day on Nisan 15 includes the Passover meal, Exodus 12, and is the First Holy Day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread.
( c) Trinity is counted from Harvesting Sheaves on Sunday, which falls on the Feast of Unleavened Bread and should be celebrated on Sunday.
(d) The Feast of Trumpets, Penance and Feast of Tabernacles in the seventh month, called Tashri, are counted from the New Moon of the seventh month according to astronomical custom.
(e) The New Moon and the First Day of the First Moon, which is a day of solemn assembly, are also observed.
ARTICLE 19 General rules of admission
- This Conference recognizes the membership of the World Conference of Churches of God as constituted and operating on the basis of the laws of God. Such membership continues the recognition of existing churches wishing to participate in this Conference.
- The Christian Churches of God recognize the custom of adult baptism in the Sabbath-keeping Churches of God, in which baptism takes place into the body of Christ, the name of the Father , and the power of the Holy Spirit, of persons who are not of any sect or creed. Such recognition does not require re-baptism of the person. The directions of activity of specialized churches will be determined by the World Conference of the Christian Churches of God.
SECTION 20 Indemnification
Part 1:
- Every member of the Church should seek help from the grievance redressal system. Each Church shall establish on-site tribunals composed of elders, deacons, and such other persons as may for the time being attend the hearing, which shall be convened within 30 days or a period agreed upon by the parties.
- Appeals are submitted to subordinate conferences, and in their absence – to the National Conference for a regular or extraordinary Session. If the process has been initiated by the World Conference, it determines the structure with the help of the National Conference if necessary.
Part 2:
- No one can be expelled from the church brotherhood (this does not apply to persons included in the church brotherhood without the right to vote) except on the basis of violation of Biblical norms, and they must be given a warning in writing. Such warning shall be issued no later than three weeks before the meeting, and the warned person shall have the opportunity to appear before the meeting convened in the manner provided for in Part 1 of this Article, which he/she may decline. If a member of the church is accused of fomenting strife, division, or disobedience, it must be proven that he is actually trying to divide the church, and not just disagreeing with the interpretation of the text of the Bible (with the exception of laws and this Constitution).
Every member of the church must abide by this Constitution, which includes the observance of the laws of the organization.
(3) Removal from office for non-doctrinal reasons does not give a person the right to appeal this decision in the manner provided by this article. The Christian Churches of God reserve the right to cancel the position, if necessary, within the limits of the contractual obligations imposed on each of the parties, as a necessary condition of employment, as well as the right to apply a probationary period. In cases of ineligibility for the position held, it is possible to appeal within the limits of national legislation.
ARTICLE 21 Financial controllers (auditors), finances, accounts and
Part 1:
- The accounts of each Conference are audited annually.
- The annual financial report is approved by the National Conference and sent to the World Conference.
- The fiscal year runs from Nisan 1 to Nisan 1 according to the church calendar
- Documents are drawn up by the heads of the board of each Conference, namely the Chairman and secretaries.
- Bank accounts are opened by Conference Secretaries and Treasurers at the direction of conference board members. Churches can open accounts designated for local activities. All other accounts are under the control of the Treasurers in accordance with the orders of the Executive Committees or Chief Coordinators.
- National Conferences cannot borrow funds without the consent of the World Conference.
- Expenses incurred by the Coordinators, Directors and Members of the Church Board, related to their performance of their official duties, must be reimbursed to them. Each Conference must make a public commitment about responsibility for its actions, in order to secure the church from accidental losses and damages.
Part 2: The Common Seal
The Common Seal of the Church is kept by the Chief Secretary on behalf of the Chief Coordinator, who directs its use. National Conferences are required to keep the Common Seals of National Conferences approved by the World Conference and use them as directed by the Executive Committees in accordance with Conference policy.
Part 3: Lists of Members
- Every baptized person may be received into the brotherhood, and such decision shall be approved by the Executive Committee of the National Conference in the manner prescribed by this Constitution under the supervision of the World Conference. Such a person may be granted the right to vote after completing the probationary period.
- The lists of members of the brotherhood are approved at the level of the World and National Conferences. Admission to the fraternity does not mean admission to vote. Lists of both admission categories are compiled and organized by secretaries at all levels.
ARTICLE 22 Making changes and additions
- (a) Amendments to this Constitution may be made by resolution of the World Conference of the Christian Churches of God, adopted at a session by a vote of not less than three-fourths of the number of delegates voting, and may be vetoed by the General Coordinator .
(b) No change or addition may be tabled without the approval of the Chief Coordinator.
Amendments to the National Constitutions may be made with the consent of the executive committee, if they do not conflict with the provisions of this Constitution. A statement on this matter shall be submitted to the secretary no later than two calendar months before the date of the convening of the session, and in this case, the statement shall bring the question of introducing an amendment to the consideration of the session.
(2) Before any amendment to the Constitution of the National or Regional Conference is brought up for discussion at a session, it must be sent by the Executive Committee of the Regional Conference (if it exists) to the Executive Committee of the National Conference, which must consider the amendment and in turn send it to in writing to the World Conference and later to any such session.
